It is becoming apparent that many influences of the worlds beyond peddle their filth and find way to Brothers' ears, but hopefully not their hearts. I have taken it upon me to send a strong reminder to all who accompany us to the Crossroads, whose words I will retell hereunder:

Brothers,

I have found that it is not uncommon for the Brothers that have donned the mantle of obedience to visit the Crossroads to see a sliver of doubt and to question what we know to be true for the words of the wicked carry with them the power of sorcery and witchcraft to sway a righteous man from his path. No matter what words are uttered to you, no matter the persuasion they carry, no matter the apparent truth they seem to show you, never doubt the words of the Most Holy Clément, and whom may give you strength by reading the second article of our most beneficial Greater Rule, and requires of us to unite in pure diligence and firm perseverance, which is to say we must not sway no matter our travels and encounters.

It is not our place to doubt the wisdom of our Master, the Maréchal Antoine du Loupe, in sending us here upon a most important mission, that is to keep safe the Portal and our people, whom we serve according to the rule, whose holy words were diligently examined with the assembled wisdom, and of the patriarch of Saint Clément and with the assent of the chapter; and those words should be steadfastly kept so that by an upright life we may still hope to once stand before the lady, and by doubting them makes us unworthy, for it proves we doubt the Greater Rule, which we hold to most dearly, and professes doubt in all the Most Holy Order of the Anointed Knights of our beloved founder Saint Clément stands for, and such is not right.

I therefore request of you, that if you find ever words that ring true but bring falsehood to all we believe in, that you always find strength and wisdom in the counsel of a brother, if possible one schooled in the convents of the Lady, and bring these blasphemous words before the counsel of Brothers at the earliest possible time, and take heed to only bring the knowledge of, and never the believe in, these words with you, for your soul has been tested and proven to come from the Lady, and this we must heed, and you may find strength in the reading of the Rule or the prayers of the Mother.

And doing so in a timely matter will only constitute a slight sin, which may be required to gain the knowledge of, but never the believe in, the words spoken to us of false gods and idols and worlds and creation and more.

This message we must adhere to with fervor and strength, and also convey the meaning of these words to our Vaillants so they be not led into despair or doubt, and in time gain the mantle of a full brother of our most holy order.

Also, I have received a letter from the honorable Sieur Clovis, whom is concerned with Unicorn and our role within their ranks. I have answered the following, true to heart and mind:

Mon frére,

your letter has greeted my eyes today and I shall make haste and answer your as well als possible.

It is apparent from actions and questions past and present within our faction Unicorn, that the same question you struggle with is one they too struggle with. It is a testament of your good character that you feel connected to the faction of Unicorn but in ultimo it should be decided by a council of brothers if we should take a stand and try and lead the faction or merely follow it while it serves our purpose.

The leadership of the faction is both young, inexperienced and involuntarily set to this task; a combination of factors that bodes not well for the near future. However, the believe of many that they can do right, and whom we fight for so they can live and act in blissful ignorance, is a great power in its own right.

It is my true believe we should maintain diligence and keep away all influence, demonic and angelic, from this world of Crossroads as well, so we can keep safe our portal forever, for a great disbalance may destroy this world and it is rumoured to detrimentally affect our world as well, which we are sworn to protect. If such requires us to strengthen either faction of Light or Dark, or neither, or act in any other way that may prove necessary to serve our Mission, we shall do so with pure diligence and firm perseverance.

And if a counsel of brothers finds it beneficial to help Unicorn find its goal and cause for existence upon the Crossroads, we shall.

Now all that remains for us is to make ready and depart for the Crossroads once more, as a summons for our aid within Unicorn has reached us for a coming gathering of factions. Many letters have met my eyes, sent to and from Brothers, which has given me much thought on how to proceed with this mission and our role upon the Vortex; it is however not my decision, but of the Brothers with the advise of our honorable Drussard.

I must not forget to address the following matters when meeting with the Brothers:
