Avril 16 et 17, Anno Meron 211, Report on the so-called Lightfest, the world of Kitam
The members of Light had deemed us fit to receive invitation and quest beyond yet another portal for the benefit of the Princess of Light, conferring blessing upon her through the acquisition of several Artefacts. Conforming to the Greater Rule, Article 26, which reads “Brothers who are sent throughout divers countries of the world or beyond this dimension should endeavour to keep the commandments of the Rule according to their ability and live without reproach with regard to selflessness, etc. so that they may receive a good report from outsiders and not sully by deed or word the precepts of the Order, and so that they may set an example of good works and wisdom; above all so that those with whom they associate and those in whose inns they lodge may be bestowed with honour.”, we decided to accompany the members of Unicorn and bestow upon them the blessings of our thoughts and deeds.
Upon arriving our host of Knights and auxiliaries was greeted by most hospital gypsies whom shared with us their meals and lodging, blessings be upon their brow. All the soon it appeared that the reqion in which we had the utmost interest was party to chaos and disarray for an unwholesome grove of an 'evil' and a 'good' tree was disturbed and foul creatures, an insult to our beloved Lady of Life, roamed the lands.
Without much ado we lent our strength where we could, in deed and council. In deeds we stood firm at the forefront of onslaught upon unslaught and though many of us were gravely wounded, none perished. In council we advised the High Lady Riven and servitor Turtle about their dealings and lack of insight into matters of command and set them upon a path of true and obedient servitude towards the mantle of leadership.
A few occurences of note: Brother Darafayen wrested a sword, infused with unholy might, from the hands of one of the abominations and, though being painful to wield for a man of great courage, used it to great effect against the foes of life. Also, we encountered a Witch whom feasted upon the memories and thoughs of virtuous men and laid chain to her. After adamant requests from the High Lady Riven we however set to council and decided to let the Rule guide us more than our hearts, and removed the chain as to prove true to Rule 26.
After many a fight upon ground unholy and unhallowed, the Unicorn emerged victoriously, carrying with them the trophies of war: an enchanted box, a magic sword and a cursed hand of a mummy.
What is yet to come of this, remains to be seen.
