A new brother to be has joined us to travel to the Crossroads. This honorable Vaillant of our Most Holy Order, Jean Clément Dubon, has subterfuge and infiltration as his area of expertise and as such I will use him. In the guise of a common man at arms he will travel to the Crossroads separate from us, and join the faction of Metal, or Golem, so as to become a confidant of the aforementioned faction and give us insight into their structure and workings.

A renewed calling from the Crossroad has reached us and the High Lord Asaris requested all able men to gather again. We have decided to heed his call and travel lo; our mission comprised of the most honorable Seigneur Du Doullaincour and the honorable sieurs Chevanton, Clovis, de Coubertin and Dumas. Unbeknown to our mission, we were also in the distant company of vaillant Dubon.

From the onset of this event it became clear that the Crossroads were plagued with undead, connected to a so-called Maelstrom. Sieur De Coubertin, our expert in the matter of the unliving, has taken it upon him to coordinate several sorties and battles and has done so admirably. He has gained much honor and esteem in the eyes of the Warriors Guild. However, he has lost a finely crafted sword worth 15 pieces of gold and must retrieve it upon his own merit.

In a ritual that happenen outside our locus of influence, members of the faction decided upon their own initiative to remove the Holy Chain from Liora's neck and interfere with the orders given. However, High Lord Asaris had a change of heart and would no longer see reason to chain this creature of the World Above, much to our dismay.

During a heated exchange of words, High Lord Asaris decided to step down and lay the mantle of leaderhip upon the shoulders of now High Lady Ryven Alloca. A pivotal part in this decision was played by the youngling Radbout, and by the member of the Order of the Broken Mask. The latter is apparently led by a man named Rafagin, whom has sent me a writ, declaring their intentions to make the Light brighter.

Seigneur du Doullaincourt has proven invaluable in making contact within the guild of alchemists and quacks, making sure the Esclave Amarente is of use to our Most Holy Order.

Sieur Dumas has received the honorable mantle of Navigator Contact in the name of Unicorn, and through deft politicking secured a seat within the Council of the Vortex (formerly known as the Council of Navigators), including a full voice in votes and decisions.

As mentioned, the crossroads were plagued by the animated husks of the formerly living and after several days upon the Crossroads, a final confrontation with the Necromancer took place. Sieur de Coubertin once again proved invaluable in combating the foul renegade and his poor minions, leading us to inevitable victory under the eyes of the Lady.
